LG declared that they have created the “world’s thinnest full HD LCD” for mobile phones. It is 5.2-inches, is only 2.2mm dense with a 2.3mm frame, and is a “real” full HD (1080×1920) display with its RGB sub-pixels. This new panel should offer improved outside legibility thanks to “superiority in showing quality, lighting, and contrast rate.” It will also offer an improved contact encounter, better “grip-ability,” and a bigger noticeable display space.According to LG, the panel will make smartphones easier to hold as well as light in weight. This panel comes with LG Display’s One-Glass-Solution (OGS). The company explains dual flexible printed circuits have been placed between the panels and touch film, thereby decreasing the number of lines on the panel by more than 30 %.The new panel’s brilliance in displaying quality, lighting, and contrast ratio results in improved outdoor legibility.
