Pebble declares 275,000 smartwatches for preordered



Pebble has declared moving 275,000 system preorders and 1 million app downloading and is making a restored dedication to its development system, appealing to help third-party designers obtain further access to the watch’s technology. Pebble smartwatch sales coming to Best Buy stores, on July 7


The Pebble smartwatch will be reaching retail stores for the first time this weekend, enabling potential owners to pick up the device without patiently waiting months for a pre-order to be satisfied. The Kickstarter-funded watch will be showing at Best Buy through an “exclusive retail store release partnership” with the retailer, with stores receiving stock of the watches for sale on Sunday, July 7. 
Best Buy contacted Pebble last year about promoting the smartwatch in its stores, Pebble Chief Executive Officer Eric Migicovsky said. Pebble has marketed more than 100,000 of the gadgets since the company organized its Kickstarter strategy this year.According to technological innovation market-research firm ABI Digital, 1.2 million smartwatches will be marketed worldwide this year with revenue of $370 thousand. ABI projects that this revenue will improve 20-fold by 2015. Pebble smartwatches in red will be available in Best Buy shops in August, while more shades –orange, grey, and white-colored – - will be available on Pebble’s website, according to the declaration.
